中析 (析 is also written 𣂔, the same; fanqie *s- [思狄]; the Shenglei says: "析 means to cleave." The Shuowen jiezi says: "To split wood." It also means to divide. The character is formed with 'wood' (木) and 'axe' (斤), being an associative compound character).
