鉢𥁄（補沫反鉢多羅又云波多羅此云薄謂治厚物令薄而作器也鉢亦近字下羽俱反說文飯器也律文作釫古文鏵字音胡瓜反犁鏵也鏵非此用也）。

鉢𥁄 (Fanqie 補沫 [bō]. Pātra, also called pātala; translated here as 'thin' (薄), meaning working thick material thin to make a vessel. 鉢 is also a recent character. The second character is fanqie 羽俱 [yǔ]. Shuowen: an eating vessel. In vinaya texts it is written as 釫, an ancient script for 鏵, fanqie 胡瓜 [huá], a plowshare. A plowshare is not used for this purpose.)
