細襵（之涉反廣疋襵襞也埤蒼[券-刀+(巳/羊)]衣也今作襵疊是也通俗文便縫曰襵今裙襵亦冝作此攝音輒[券-刀+(巳/羊)]音丘院反）。

Fine pleats (細襵: [襵 is pronounced] with the fanqie *zhi* + *she* [zhé]. The *Guangya* states: '襵 means to fold (襞).' The *Picang* states: 'to fold garments.' Today it is written 襵疊 [pleat and fold], which is the same. The *Tongsuwen* says: 'Convenient stitching is called *zhe* (襵).' The pleats of skirts today should also properly be written this way. 攝 is pronounced *zhe* [zhé]; [券-刀+(巳/羊)] is pronounced with the fanqie *qiu* + *yuan* [quàn].).
