阿闍梨（經中或作阿祇利皆訛也應言阿遮利夜此云正行又言阿遮利耶此云軌範舊云於善法中教授令知名阿闍梨也）。

Ācārya (經中或作阿祇利皆訛也應言阿遮利夜此云正行又言阿遮利耶此云軌範舊云於善法中教授令知名阿闍梨也; sometimes written 阿祇利 in scriptures, which are all corruptions; one should say ācārya [阿遮利夜], which translates as "correct conduct", or ācārya [阿遮利耶], which translates as "model of conduct"; the older explanation says: instructing [disciples] in good dharmas to cause them to understand is called ācārya).
