Pound and grind (舂磨: In the *Zilin* it is written as 䃺, pronounced with the fanqie *wang* + *zuo* [mò]. Guo Pu's commentary on the *Fangyan* says: 'A millstone (磑) is a grindstone (磨).' The *Shiben* states: 'Ban Shu made the millstone'; this is the northern name, while south of the Yangtze it is called a *mo*.).
