租賦（古文[貶-之+(足-口)]同方務反說文賦𣫍也廣疋賦稅也爾雅賦量也郭璞曰賦稅所以平量也文言賦動也賦稅所以擾動也）。

租賦 (the ancient script is [貶-之+(足-口)], both fāng-wù [方務 fanqie, fù]. The Shuowen jiezi says: '賦 means collecting revenues.' The Guangya says: '賦 means levy or tax.' The Erya says: '賦 means to measure.' Guo Pu says: 'Levies and taxes are that by which things are evenly measured.' The Wenyan says: '賦 means to move; levies and taxes are that by which people are stirred into movement').
