中的（知仲反下的又作㢩說文作的明也同都歷反射質也謂的然明見也今射堋中珠子是）。

Hitting the target (中的) (中 has the fanqie *zhi* + *zhong* [zhòng]. The lower character 的 is also written as 㢩. The *Shuowen jiezi* writes 的 and defines it as 'bright'; it is also pronounced with the fanqie *du* + *li* [dì], referring to an archery target. It means clearly visible. Nowadays it refers to the bullseye on an archery mound).
