曼今（莫盤反高昌謂聞為曼此應是也律有作聞勿雲反說文聞知聲也）。

曼今 [hearing now(?)] (Pronounced with the fanqie 莫盤 [màn]. In Gaochang they pronounce 聞 [hearing] as 曼; this should be it. Vinaya texts sometimes have 聞, pronounced with the fanqie 勿雲 [wén]. The Shuowen jiezi states: "聞 means knowing sounds").
