䟽向（山於反疏通也說文作[(白-日+(鹵-├))*疋][(白-日+(鹵-├))*疋]窓也字從疋也從囪象其形也門戶囱牖皆所以引通諸物故從疋疋取通行意也疋山與反）。

䟽向 [open north-facing window] (Pronounced with the fanqie 山於 [shū]. 疏 means open and unobstructed. The Shuowen jiezi writes [(白-日+(鹵-├))*疋]; [(白-日+(鹵-├))*疋] is a window. The graph takes 疋 and 囱, imitating its form. Doors, windows, and casements are all that through which things are brought to communicate; hence it takes 疋, drawing on the meaning of unobstructed passage. 疋 is pronounced with the fanqie 山與 [shū]).
