作桄（古文橫二形同音光聲類作輄車下橫木也今車牀及梯舉下橫木皆曰桄是也）。

Make a crosspiece (作桄: The ancient script has 橫; the two forms are identical, pronounced 光. Shenglei writes 輄: "The crossbeam under a cart." Nowadays the crossbeams beneath cart beds and ladders are all called guang (桄), which is this).
