摩揭陀國（揭音居櫱反梵語中天竺境如來於此國中示現八相成道有金剛座菩提樹遊化聖跡多於諸國）。

摩揭陀國: 揭 is pronounced 居 + 櫱 fanqie. Sanskrit; a realm of Central India. It was in this country that the Tathāgata manifested the eight phases of attaining enlightenment. It contains the Vajrāsana and the Bodhi tree, and sacred traces of his wanderings and teachings are more numerous here than in other countries.
