黧黮（上力遲反通俗文云班黑曰黧考聲云面𩓀七巡反黑也又云黑而復黃色也前文第四百三十五卷已釋下他感反楚辭云黤烏感反黮不明淨也說文云桒葚之黑色也聲類云如漆色也前四百三十五卷已釋）。

Dark and sallow (黧黮: for the first character, the fanqie is 力遲 [lí]. The Tongsu wen says: 'Spotted black is called 黧.' The Kaosheng says: 'A face that is dark (七巡 [qūn]).' It also says: 'Black combined with yellow color.' Already explained in the previous text, fascicle 435. For the second character, the fanqie is 他感 [dǎn]. The Chuci has 黤 (烏感 [ǎn]) 黮, meaning not bright and clean. The Shuowen says: 'The dark-black color of mulberries.' The Shenglei says: 'Like the color of lacquer.'
