山崖（牙皆反桂苑珠叢云山邊高險也考聲云山澗險岸也說文高邊處也從屵音五割反從隹省聲也）。

Mountain cliff (山崖: the second is pronounced with the fanqie 牙皆 [yái]. The Guiyuan zhucong says: "A high, precipitous mountain ridge." The Kaosheng says: "A steep bank beside a mountain ravine." The Shuowen says: "A high precipice; deriving from 屵 [pronounced with the fanqie 五割, è] and an abbreviated 隹 as phonetic").
