噎饖（上煙結反食在喉中不下曰噎從口壹聲下音穢或從口作噦文字集略噦氣啎也說文飯傷熱也）。

Choke and belch (噎饖: the first character is pronounced *yan* + *jie* [= *yē*]. When food remains in the throat and does not go down, it is called *yē*. It is derived from 口 with 壹 as phonetic. The second character is pronounced *hui* [= *wèi*], or written with 口 as 噦. The *Wenji jielüe* says: "*Yuě* means breath being obstructed." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "Cooked rice spoiled by heat").
