Gōucè 鈎策 (hook and crop; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie gǒu + hóu; a hook is used to control elephants. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie chǔ + gé; a whip or crop is used to control horses. It derives from zhú 竹 and shù 束; shù is pronounced with the fanqie cǐ + zì).
