齲齒（區禹反考聲云齒有蟲也准經義合書齲字今律文從禺作齵音耦溝反蒼頡篇云重生齒也顧野王云齒不齊平也說文齒不正也兩通故存之）。

Carious teeth (qǔ in fanqie from qū and yǔ; the Kaosheng states that it means having worms in the teeth; according to the meaning in the vinaya text, the character qǔ should be written, but the current vinaya text takes the yú radical to write 齵, pronounced ǒu in fanqie from ǒu and gōu; the Cangjie pian states that it means growing double teeth; Gu Yewang states that it means teeth that are uneven; the Shuowen says teeth that are crooked; both readings are acceptable, hence preserved).
