嗤笑（上齒詩反韓詩外傳云嗤者志意和悅貌也文字典說云笑也從口[山/虫]聲[山/虫]音同上）。

To laugh and sneer (嗤笑): For the first character, the fanqie is 齒 (ch-) plus 詩 (-i). The Han shi waizhuan states that 嗤 is an appearance of harmonious joy in intention. The Wenzidian shuo says that it means to laugh; it is formed with the mouth radical (口) and [山/虫] as the phonetic element, with [山/虫] having the same pronunciation as above.
