角力（上江岳反角力者二人說其力角其強弱也如牛鹿二角競長之義也律文從手作捔非也無此字只合多用角字義如前所言說文狩角也象形角如刀故從刀從魚省聲）。

角力 (for the first character, the fanqie is 江 + 岳. "Wrestling" (角力) means two people competing in strength and testing who is stronger, just as two horns of an ox or deer strive against each other in length. In the Vinaya text it is written with the hand radical as 捔, which is incorrect; there is no such character, and one should generally just use the character 角, with the meaning as stated above. The Shuowen says: "Beast horns; pictographic. A horn is like a knife, hence it takes 刀 with an abbreviated form of 魚 as phonetic").
