羣禲（下力滯反蒼頡篇云禲亡國之神也杜注左傳云灾鬼也顧野王云鬼有所歸則不為礪言羣禲者有多種天子七祀日泰禲諸侯五祀曰公禲大夫三祀日族禲鄭玄曰禲小神也居人間司察小過作譴告者禲主殺伐之或作[序-予+列][(餐-食)-又+列]皆古字也從示厲聲也）。

羣禲 (The second character has the fanqie *li* + *zhi*. The *Cang Jie pian* says: "禲 are spirits of a fallen state." Du's commentary on the *Zuo zhuan* says: "Calamity-bringing ghosts." Gu Yewang says: "When ghosts have a place to return, they do not become malevolent spirits (*li*). As for 'multitudinous malevolent spirits' (*qunli*), there are many kinds: the Son of Heaven's seven sacrifices include the Great Malevolent Spirit; the feudal lords' five sacrifices include the Ducal Malevolent Spirit; the grand masters' three sacrifices include the Clan Malevolent Spirit. Zheng Xuan says: '禲 are minor spirits; dwelling among humanity, they investigate petty misdeeds and bring down reprimands; 禲 are in charge of executions and slaughters.' Some write it as [序-予+列] or [(餐-食)-又+列], both of which are ancient characters. It takes 示 as radical with 厲 phonetic).
