Drying in the sun (the first character has the fanqie bao + bo; the Shuowen says: "An ideographic character; it takes sun [日], joined hands [拱], and rice [米] as radicals." The second character has the fanqie sha + jie; it means drying rice in the sun; it takes sun [日] as radical and is phonetic in 麗; it is also a phono-semantic character).
