紖促(上陳忍反周禮牛則挽紖也馬則執韁是也說文牛糸也從革畺聲下取欲反鄭注禮記促近也速也說文迫也從人足聲)。

Nose-rope pulled taut (紖促; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 陳忍 [zhèn]; the Rites of Zhou [Zhouli] says that for oxen one pulls the nose-rope [紖], and for horses one holds the reins; the Shuowen jiezi says it is a cord for oxen, taking 'leather' [革] as semantic and 畺 as phonetic. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 取欲 [cù]; Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Book of Rites [Liji] says that 促 means near or urgent; the Shuowen jiezi says it means pressing close, taking 'person' [人] as semantic and 足 as phonetic).
