斑駁（上八蠻反下邦邈反漢書云黑白相雜謂之斑駁斑文彩相間五色謂之斑考聲斑文玉也從文）。

Mottled (斑駁; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 八蠻 [bān]; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 邦邈 [bó]; the Hanshu says that a mixture of black and white is called 斑駁; 斑 means patterns and colors intermingled, and the mixture of the five colors is called 斑; the Kaosheng says 斑 means jade with patterned veins, taking 'pattern' [文] as semantic).
