窺䆫 (Peering through a window: the upper character has the fanqie 犬 + 規. The Kaosheng says: “Kuī means to spy on.” Spying (覻) has the fanqie 蛆 + 預; it means to watch stealthily. The lower character has the fanqie 齪 + 雙; it is a popular character. The standard form in the Shuowen is a pictogram of a roof window (囱); it is a phono-semantic character).
