溉灌（上音記下音貫顧野王云溉謂灌注也韻詮云灌亦溉也兩字互相訓用同並從水形聲字雚音同上）。

To irrigate and water (溉灌): The first character has the pronunciation of 記; the second character has the pronunciation of 貫. Gu Yewang states that 溉 refers to pouring and irrigating. The Yunquan states that 灌 also means to irrigate; the two characters gloss each other and are used identically, both formed with the water radical (水) as phonetic-ideographic characters, with 雚 having the same pronunciation as above.
