瓦甌（下惡侯反方言云盆之小者謂之甌今江南謂瓷椀瓦椀總名為甌古今正字從瓦從歐省聲也）。

Earthenware bowl (瓦甌): The second character has the fanqie 惡 (e-) plus 侯 (-ou). The Fangyan states that small basins are called 甌. Nowadays in Jiangnan, porcelain bowls and earthenware bowls are generally termed 甌. The Gujin zhengzi states that it is formed with the pottery radical (瓦) and the abbreviated 歐 as the phonetic element.
