霹靂（上匹壁反下音歷顧野王云大雷震動也凡霹靂者破樹壞屋耴乖龍也並從雨形聲字）。

霹靂 (for the first character, the fanqie is 匹 + 壁; the second is pronounced 歷. Gu Yewang says: "Great thunder shaking violently. Whenever there is a thunderbolt (霹靂), it shatters trees and destroys houses, taking perverse dragons." Both are phono-semantic characters with the rain radical [雨]).
