整旆（上征郢反集訓云整理也正也古今正字整齊也從文從牙正聲也下俳妹反杜注左傳云旆者軍門前大旗也說文云繼旐之旗也沛然而垂也從放從沛省聲也於音偃旐音兆）。

整旆 (for the first character, the fanqie is 征 + 郢. The Jixun says: "To put in order; to make upright." The Gujin zhengzi says: "To make even and orderly; it takes 文 and 牙, with 正 as phonetic." For the second character, the fanqie is 俳 + 妹. Du's commentary to the Zuozhuan says: "A 旆 is a large banner before the military gates." The Shuowen says: "A banner that follows the pennon (旐); fluttering and drooping down. It takes 方 and 沛 with abbreviated phonetic." 旐 is pronounced 兆; 旆 is pronounced 偃).
