腭骨（我各反俗字也考聲腭口上腭也說文云口上阿也從口作谷音強略反從口欠象文理也古云各今云咢聲轉也）。

Palate bone (腭骨: pronounced with the fanqie 我各; a vulgar character. The Kaosheng says: "The è [腭] is the upper palate of the mouth." The Shuowen says: "The upper slope [阿] of the mouth; written with mouth [口] and valley [谷], pronounced with the fanqie 強略, taking mouth [口] and yawn [欠] to depict the patterning. In antiquity it was called gè [各], now called è [咢]; this is a phonetic shift").
