Brittle and precarious ([月*(刀/巳)][刀/(厂@巴)]: the first is pronounced with the fanqie 清歲. The Guangya says: "Fragile and weak." The Zitong says: "Flesh that is soft and easily broken." The Wenzidian shuo says: "Easily shattered." The Shuowen says: "Slightly soft and easily broken; it takes flesh [肉] as semantic classifier and an abbreviated jué [絕] as phonetic." The second is pronounced with the fanqie 隗逵. The Wenzidian shuo says: "Being high up and afraid; a person on a cliff [厂] keeping oneself decorous and still." The Shuowen says: "It takes seal [卪] as semantic classifier and wēi [厃] as phonetic. Wēi is pronounced with the fanqie 危毀, and takes person [人] and cliff [厂] as components").
