森竦（上澀金反說文云森多木長貌從林木讀若上黨人參也參音所林反下栗勇反廣雅云竦上也顧野王云高也說文從立從束束自由束亦聲也）。

Dense and towering (森竦: the first is pronounced with the fanqie 澀金. The Shuowen says: "Sēn [森] is the appearance of many trees growing tall; it takes forest [林] and tree [木], read like Shangdang ginseng [人參]." Shēn [參] is pronounced with the fanqie 所林. The second is pronounced with the fanqie 栗勇. The Guangya says: "Sǒng [竦] means above." Gu Yewang says: "High." The Shuowen says: "It takes stand [立] and bundle [束]; bundle [束] comes from tying oneself up, and also serves as phonetic").
