Torn open (𥿳擘: pronounced with the fanqie 迸麥. Zheng's commentary on the Book of Rites says: "Bò [擘] means to rip and tear open." The Shuowen says: "It takes hand [手] as semantic classifier and pì [辟] as phonetic").
