斑駮（上八蠻反下邦邈反漢書云白黑雜合謂之駮說文作駁釋云不純色也從馬交聲也）。

Mottled and variegated (斑駮: the first is pronounced with the fanqie 八蠻; the second is pronounced with the fanqie 邦邈. The Book of Han says: "A mixture of black and white is called bó [駮]." The Shuowen writes 駁, explaining: "Not of a pure colour; it takes horse [馬] as semantic classifier and jiāo [交] as phonetic").
