焚燎（寮鳥反又去聲力召反鄭箋毛詩云火田為燎考聲輕燒也說文燎放火也從火寮聲寮音力召反）。

焚燎 (Has the fanqie 寮 [liao] + 鳥 [niao]; also read in the falling tone as 力 [li] + 召 [zhao] fanqie. Zheng [Xuan]'s gloss on the Mao Odes says: 'Setting fire to a field is called 燎.' The Kaosheng says: 'To burn lightly.' The Shuowen jiezi says: '燎 means to set fire.' It takes the fire radical with 寮 phonetic; 寮 is pronounced 力 [li] + 召 [zhao] fanqie).
