髭鬢（上紫斯反下賓牝反說文云髭者口上須也從須此聲下鬢字說文云頰邊髮也從髟賓聲髟音必遙反）。

髭鬢 ('mustache and sideburns'): the first character is [pronounced] with the fanqie 紫斯; the second character is with the fanqie 賓牝. The Shuowen says: '髭 (zī) refers to the mustache above the mouth. It takes 須 (beard) as semantic component and 此 as phonetic component.' As for the lower character 鬢 (bìn), the Shuowen says: 'The hair along the cheeks. It takes 髟 (hair) as semantic component and 賓 as phonetic component.' 髟 is pronounced with the fanqie 必遙.
