繮絆（上摾羊反已釋第十九卷中下般漫反考聲云絆繫兩足也說文云絆[馬/巾]也從糸半聲[馬/巾]字縶）。

Bridling and tethering (the first [syllable has the fanqie] 摾 + 羊; it has already been explained in Fascicle 19. For the second [syllable, the fanqie is] 般 + 漫. The *Kaosheng* says: "*Ban* means to tie the two legs." The *Shuowen* says: "*Ban* means [馬/巾] [horse tether]." It is composed of 糸 [silk] with 半 as phonetic. The character [馬/巾] means to fetter).
