船撥（煩韈反考聲云縛竹木浮於水上大者曰撥小者曰桴說文從木發聲經作筏栰皆非也）。

Boat raft (the fanqie is 煩 + 韈. The *Kaosheng* says: "Binding bamboo or wood to float on the water; large ones are called *bo*, small ones are called *fu*." The *Shuowen* says it is composed of 木 [wood] with 發 as phonetic. Writing it in the sūtras as 筏 or 栰 are both errors).
