Brew much [多釀]: (niang + liang [niàng]). The Huainanzi states: 'Fermented and brewed to completion.' The Shuowen states: 'Wine obtained by fermentation is called niàng.' It is formed with 'vessel/wine' [酉] as radical and xiāng [襄] as phonetic.
