鑽孔（上纂九反顧野王云鑽謂之鐫鑿也說文云鑽所以穿也從金贊聲鐫音卒緣反）。

鑽孔 (The first character has the fanqie [纂九] zuǎn. Gu Yewang says: "Zuān (boring) refers to engraving and chiseling." The Shuowen jiezi says: "A zuān is that with which one pierces." It has the metal classifier [金] and 贊 as phonetic. The character 鐫 has the fanqie [卒緣] juān.)
