鐵鍤（上天跌反前有部律二十三卷中已具釋下初甲反尒雅云鍬謂之鍤也文字典說云鍫鍤也從金臿聲也臿字從干從臼臼音舊）。

鐵鍤 'iron spade' (the first character is fanqie 天跌; it was already fully explained in Fascicle 23 of the Sarvāstivāda Vinaya above; the second character is fanqie 初甲; the Erya says: 'A shovel is called an iron spade'; the Wenzi dian shuo says: '鍫 means spade; it is formed from the metal [radical] with 臿 phonetic'; the character 臿 is formed from 干 with 臼; 臼 has the sound 舊).
