疱瘡 'pimples and sores' (the first character is fanqie 炮貌; the Kaosheng says: 'small sores on the face'; the Shuowen jiezi writes it as 炮, [meaning] 'vapors rising on the face; it is formed from the skin [radical] with 包 phonetic').
