草稕（下之閏反考聲云束草以為稕也埤蒼云稕綠也文字典說云禾稈也從禾[高/廿/十]聲[高/廿/十]音淳稈音古旱反）。

草稕 'straw bundles' (the second character is fanqie 之閏; the Kaosheng says: 'bundles of straw made into a bundle (稕)'; the Picang says: '稕 means green'; the Wenzi dian shuo says: 'grain stalk; it is formed from the grain [radical] with [高/廿/十] phonetic'; [高/廿/十] has the sound 淳; 稈 has the fanqie 古旱).
