銸子（上黏輒反釋名云銸拔取髮也文字典說云拔毛具也從金聶聲聶音同上律文作鑷俗字也）。

Tweezers (銸子): the first character is pronounced with the fanqie nian-zhe (she). The Shiming states: "A she is for plucking and extracting hair." The Wenzi dianshuo states: "An implement for plucking hair; it takes 'metal' (金) as semantic classifier and has nie (聶) as phonetic component." Nie has the same pronunciation as above. In the Vinaya text it is written as 鑷, which is the vulgar form.
