Broad-husked barley [[麩-夫+廣]麥]: The first character (guo + meng [kuàng]) is explained in the Kaosheng: '[麩-夫+廣]mài is six-rowed barley.' The Wenzi dianshuo says: 'Broad-husked wheat; formed with "wheat" [麥] as radical and guǎng [廣] as phonetic.'
