刷削（上拴刮反拴音踈員反前苾蒭尼律第二十卷中已釋下襄鵲反廣雅云削減也詩傳云侵削也）。

Scrape and shave (刷削): the first character is pronounced with the fanqie shuan-gua (shua); shuan is pronounced with the fanqie shu-yuan (shuan). Already explained earlier in Fascicle Twenty of the Bhikṣuṇī-vinaya. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie xiang-que (xue). The Guangya states: "Xue means to trim." The commentary on the Shijing states: "To encroach upon and trim down."
