灘濄（上坦蘭反前有部律第三十三卷中已具釋下烏和反考聲云濄辡水旋流也從水過聲）。
灘濄 rapids and eddies: the first syllable is tan + lan fan [tān]. It has already been fully explained above in fascicle 33 of the Sarvāstivāda-vinaya. The second syllable is wu + he fan [wō]. The Kaosheng says: “Guo (濄) means turbulent water swirling in a whirlpool.” Derived from ‘water’ (水) with ‘guo’ (過) as phonetic.
