梳刷(上所初反考聲云梳謂櫛也古今正字云理髮者也從木從䟽省聲也下栓刮反前毗奈耶律第二卷中已釋)。

梳刷 comb and brush: the first syllable is suo + chu fan [shū]. The Kaosheng says: “Shu means a comb (櫛).” The Gujin zhengzi says: “That which dresses the hair.” Derived from ‘wood’ (木) with ‘shu’ (䟽) abbreviated as phonetic. The second syllable is shuan + gua fan [shuà]. It has already been explained above in fascicle 2 of the Vinaya.
