椎胸（上木追反前苾蒭尼律第六卷中已釋下勗邕反文字典說云𦙄膺也從肉凶聲律文從勹作胷俗用字也）。

椎胸 Beating the chest (the first character is mu + zhui [chuí], already explained previously in fascicle 6 of the Bhikṣuṇī Vinaya; the second character is xu + yong [xiōng]; the Wenzidian shuo says: "'Xiong' means breast; [the character] derives from 'flesh' with 'xiong' phonetic. In the Vinaya text it is written with 'bao' as 胷, which is a vulgar form").
