語吃 Stuttering speech (pronounced jin + yi [jí]; the Hanshu says: "Sima Xiangru stuttered in speech." The Shenglei says: "Repeating words; Yang Xiong could not engage in rapid debate." The Shuowen says: "Difficulty speaking; [the character] derives from 'mouth' with 'qi' phonetic").
