鞠躬（上弓麴反考聲云謹敬也論語云入公門鞠躬如也孔注云鞠斂容也文字典說從革匊聲也）。

鞠躬 Bowing respectfully (the first character is gong + ju [jū]; the Kaosheng says: "Prudent and respectful." The Analects says: "When entering the duke's gate, he bowed respectfully as if it were not high enough." Kong's commentary says: "'Ju' means assuming a respectful bearing." The Wenzidian shuo says: "[The character] derives from 'leather' with 'ju' phonetic").
