曳韁（上移制反前苾蒭尼律第七卷中已釋下襁良反考聲云韁馬勒也漢書云繫名聲之韁鎖也文字典說馬緤也從革畺聲緤音先節反）。

曳韁 'pulling the reins' (the first character is fanqie 移制; it was already explained in Fascicle 7 of the Bhikṣuṇī-vinaya above; the second character is fanqie 襁良; the Kaosheng says: '韁 means a horse's bridle'; the Hanshu says: 'bound by the reins and shackles of fame and reputation'; the Wenzi dian shuo says: 'a horse tether; it is formed from the leather [radical] with 畺 phonetic'; 緤 has the fanqie 先節).
